Canon Bio:
Crow Armbrust, 2nd year at Thors Military Academy is your typical senior slacker. While most of the time you will either see him passed out in class or hanging out in the engineering building with his friends, Crow also has a slew of hobbies to keep things fresh.
On top of being a playboy and flirt, Crow is a gambler at heart, seeming to find a way to turn almost anything into a game of chance. One of his favorite hobbies is betting on the horse races, as well as playing the card game Blade, which he introduced to Trista and helped raise in popularity.
Despite his laziness, Crow is a very friendly and charismatic man, witty and quick thinking on his feet. He’s proven to be quite the helpful aid to a lot of his classmates and friends. Three in particular; Angelica, Towa and George, 2nd years with him, are all very close, having been the test group for the ARCUS unit for what eventually became Class VII, a class that mixes both nobles and commoners without discrimination to fight and come together as a group.
Crow is just your normal, albeit academically failing senior that always has a grin ready and a Blade deck on hand– Or… is he? Perhaps the slacker playboy is not who everyone thinks he is, or even who he is. There is a secret darkness that hides behind that million mira smile, a mask so expertly placed that no one will know the truth until it’s too late…
Cold Steel I-II:
It is revealed that Crow is actually the terrorist and antagonist named Comrade C. Originally thought dead after he faked his death, which allowed Crow to hide his identity from his classmates, only to finally reveal himself towards the end of the first game after he sniper assassinated Chancellor Goliath Osbourne.
His goals and ideals were revealed in the second game as Crow spoke with Rean about his past. His grandfather, who was the mayor of Jurai back in the day, was overtaken when Osbourne decided to annex Jurai. His grandfather lost his respect and position in Jurai, shortly after growing sick and passing away from illness and heartache. Crow blames Osbourne for his grandfather's death, which lead to his grand plan to assassinate him. That action alone is what started the Erebonian Civil War. As time moves on, Crow continues to be a thwart to Rean and his former classmates, continuing his antagonist role. Even though he killed Osbourne, he still wished to see out the civil war until the end. For even though he was on opposite sides, he didn't want to see more lives lost unnecessarily. Through later attempts and in a final showdown, Crow is finally defeated by Rean and concedes his defeat, but actions taken by Crow's benefactor lead to Crow and Rean teaming up together in their Divine Knights. It was in this battle that Crow was pierced through the heart, and sadly succumbed to his wounds and passed away in Rean's arms.
Cold Steel III:
Crow's tale should have come to an end from that point on, but a mysterious man who shared in Crow's physical likeness appeared in Crossbell. He also bore the same dual pistol weapons that Crow used back as a member of Class VII as well as being able to pilot Ordine, his Divine Knight. This strange man is revealed to be Azure Siegfried. Because Crow is an awakener, he didn't really die, and due to the help of the Gnome, Black Alberich, he was able to come back to life as a body double was placed during Crow's funeral. Siegfried has no memories as Crow, and is an entity of unknowns. He does fight against Rean who tries to call him back, but it's near the end of game three that Siegfried finally regains his memories as Crow when Rean had gone berserker.
Crow had been brainwashed through the use of a mask that he wore as Azure Siegfried. This erased his memories and left him as the true form of what made up Crow. Although he finally awakens near the end, there's a lot of questions about his survival and his future, as well as which side he will take.
